WHEN SHE WRITES TURNS ONE! A BIG THANKYOU!

This is what I wrote on my very first blog post, one year ago:

A passion for writing

 Three times I have tried to start a blog. Yes, three times. Each and every time I have failed miserably. I can tell you it is all very well enjoying the content of your favourite blog whilst holding a cup of tea and a biscuit by actually WRITING a blog is a serious commitment.

 Just recently, I was asked to write a speech about what I am passionate about. I was shocked at how difficult I found this. I paused for a second. I had to think long and hard about my life. Why didn't I have a passion? I looked endlessly through Google:" what am I passionate about?" "Things to write a speech about?" "What is my passion?" how was the internet supposed to give me these answers?

I tried the obvious ,cliché passions trying new things, overcome challenges, music, making new friends. I found it difficult to write even a paragraph on any of them. Then I thought to myself again: What in this world do you enjoy the most? the answer was writing. Not only was able to talk endlessly about it but it got me thinking what I could do with this new found passion.

 I have always wanted to write another blog since my last fail and I have always enjoyed writing. Combining the need for purpose and passion has resulted in my blog.

I welcome you all to my little space on the internet! I have tried to create just one topic I will talk about in this blog( for example fashion or food) but to honest I have so much to say and so much I want to share that it would be almost impossible. I wanted to create a space that both me and you ( the reader) can enjoy.

I promise not all of my posts will be like this .( I have a lot of festivities  planned for you all!) I will be regularly updating so feel free to follow , comment and share this blog !

...... And I guess you could say that I still have this incredible passion for writing! I have had so much fun this past year, being able to create this wonderful community on my page. I want to that all of you that take the time to read, comment and interact. So many of you have been there , reading m blog in both my happiest and saddest moments. I have exceeded my own expectations with this blog. I know I haven't been as consistent with my posts as I originally was , but that's because of my constant studying. However, I have managed to keep at this for a WHOLE year, and if anything that was a fantastic personal achievement. I plan to host a give away soon, to say a massive thank you to all of you who have been part of my when she writes movement.
Until then , keep reading , watch out for new posts and get ready for another fantastic year!!
