THOUGHTS FOR REFLECTION

Hello lovelies! I just wanted to have a little chat with you all today. I feel like I haven't done a post like that in a while with all the awards and advice posts I've been doing lately. I want us all to spend some special time today talking about things that are on our minds.

Sometimes, we may feel like there is no one to turn to when we are angry. Or like no one listens when we speak, like we are invisible. Why should it be that others walk into a room, own it but your presence gets ignored? Is it because what you have to say is not important? No. Sometimes people do not give others the opportunity to display there own opinions. Some are like that by nature, its part of their personality to display that air of confidence. Others are just oblivious to the fact that others want to hold the mic for a moment.

Despite this, everyone deserves to display their opinion and if you feel overshadowed by someone, don't take a step back, by all means take a step forward.

Have any of you experienced that inner feeling of self-doubt recently? I hope you have found this an opportunity to realise that you are definitely worth while!

Enjoy the rest of you week!

  1. And this is exactly why I like your blog :D
There's nothing worse than the feeling that no one wants to listen what we have to say D:
It's vicious cycle..ignorance leads to confidence issues which leads to self doubts which leads to loneliness which leads to depression >.<"
I don't think I've been ignored recently how about you??

  2. Yes. I've experienced so much self doubt whenever someone doesn't want to listen. There are just so many loud confident people all around me, and I guess by default I become a shadow. So a new years resolution of mine is to become one of those people with an air of confidence too. It can't be that hard. Fake it to make it, right?

  5. It happens to me with one girl all the time. Once she interrupted me with sentence "doesn't matter" and started to talk about herself again. I never did her anything, I really don't know what is her problem :D but I am ignoring her. She doesn't matter to me ;)
