5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD LEAVE YOUR COMFORT ZONE

Ahhh the comfort zone, it is a wonderful, wonderful place to be .... said me for the past 16 years of my life. I hated the idea of having to change my routine or having to do difficult tasks because it felt safer that way. But to be honest I eventually got tired of living this repetitive, unexciting lifestyle : It really does get boring. I decided to push myself. This attitude has completely changed me it sounds so exaggerated but it's true. I just had my first ever job interview, a job offer and decided to get off my butt and be proactive in finding the work experience I have been looking for, for 4 months...and guess what? I found some! It really does pay off to make daring changes in my life. Enough about me, you probably started reading this in the first place wondering why anyone would care that much about leaving their comfort zone: now, let us read on...

1. This is where the magic happens
You've probably all heard this phrase before. When you leave your comfort zone you begin to notice that things instantly get exciting, you will suddenly experience change. Sometimes, when something throws off your routine it can be a good thing. Just get yourself involved and wait for the magic to happen

2. You can push the boundaries
There is no point sitting around waiting for good things to come to you, let's be honest they probably won't. Begin to push the boundaries- dare yourself to try something new today. Not sure whether to make that phone call? Just do it, what is the worst that could possibly happen?

3.More opportunities will come your way
Once you get the ball rolling there is no way of making it stop! Once you leave your comfort zone, they will just keep coming! Make today the time that you finally do that thing that you have been putting off for so long

4. It will surprise you
life is full of surprises just waiting to be unwrapped. There is no way that you are going to discover those in your comfort zone... trust me!

5. You'll wonder why you never left it in the first place
This one you just need to experience for yourself. There is just no point of me going on and on and on telling you how great it is , its your turn to feel how great it is !Go one... what are you waiting for?!

Thanks for reading :)

  4. This is literally me at the moment. I went for my first ever job interview last weekend, I've done so many fun community services, and I have a whole list of work experience contact phone numbers sitting on my desk waiting to be called. I have forms needing signing, emails needing confirming and YOU'RE SO RIGHT!! Why did I never leave!? Maybe it's because I couldn't legally get a job before because I was underage.. but oh well. I'm glad I'm here now, even though the excitement has disappeared

  5. I agree with the reasons you've listed. :) Getting out of our comfort zone can be really rewarding because we can achieve more than our wildest dreams. Those are indeed valid reasons. Perhaps some ways to step outside of our comfort zone can be to approach things one step at a time. We might think some goals are unattainable, but by taking little steps towards it day by day, we feel closer to our goals and believe that it's possible to achieve them. Thank you for sharing. :)
